Dear Church Family,
As we consider how to proceed in these unusual times, social distancing seems to be the best way to love our neighbor. In light of statements made by Governor Mike DeWine, we will be suspending all church services and activities through the end of March. We will re-evaluate at that time to determine when we will resume.
Leadership did not come to this decision lightly. It was made, first of all, because we want to extend special care and protection to our seniors and those with chronic health conditions. Also, in view of the larger community, we must do all we can to slow the spread of the virus to avoid overwhelming our healthcare system.
This period of distance will be quite the change, but we will be working to create a live-stream option for the next three Sundays. Also, we urge you to continue your generous giving. The cost of running the church changes very little, whether we are physically in the building or not. You can either give online at cfcn.org/give or you can mail your checks to the church at P.O. Box 1081, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.
Thank you for your grace and understanding as we navigate this developing situation. Continue to pray for our board, our church, our community, and our world. And don’t forget that the church is not just a building, but rather we are called to be the church wherever we go.
